We could use technology like this. It would make so many things so much easier.

That actually won't work. I mean, I think people have tried it, but a lot of us would prefer not indiscriminately murdering the people who actually live here.

Glad as I am to hear that, I don't see how you can avoid it if you were to wreak havoc on the town itself.

It's not simply a matter of being sure no civilians are physically harmed. These buildings and structures all serve a purpose. Whatever you destroy will need to be rebuilt, and those innocents will be responsible for that task and for working around whatever losses resulted.

All we're getting is "release me" and "tearing the place to the ground" which where I come from generally means some people got hurt or are going to get hurt.
