Oh!
[ Zelda's face is very close to the screen when the video comes on, then turns to sound only, then displays a still image of Zelda's frown, then turns on sound again, then turns off sound and changes to text. ]
This is a test.
[ The video turns on again to a triumphant smile. ]
Yes! Sorry about that. I think I understand how it works now. Can anyone see this?
[ She was present at Ari's little meeting, but left to look for a library and to figure out how the phone things work. ]

Not used to this kind of thing, I guess?
text;
It's a little like the Shiekah Slate, but much smaller. The Shiekah Slate didn't have a way to communicate with other devices, either. Although as far as I know it's the only one of its kind that remains.
text; ngl I went into BotW utterly blind and lost my shit when the magitech started happening
A Sheikah Slate? I guess it wouldn't be much use to communicate if there was only one of them...
text; have you seen the motorcycle
text; YES AND I LOVE IT
At least you seem to have gotten the hang of this.
text; I named mine Charlie the Unicorn

[ She curtsies, phone in hand. It... doesn't translate well. ]
I am Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Or... well, Queen, I suppose, though it hasn't been made official yet.

So what do you want to be called here?
no subject
Given the choice... I think it might be nice if you just called me Zelda.

It is rather an interesting little thing, wouldn't you say?

[ Zelda is too excited by new technology and new things to learn to have a proper regal expression on her face. ]
It's far beyond any technology I've seen before.

( Really, she's never seen anything close to this. They use birds, horses, pegasi... many other creatures that can travel swiftly to communicate with, but to be able to hear a response near immediately?
It was remarkable. ) Would you deem your test a success then?
no subject
Certainly! And the possibilities for more are astounding. There is so much to learn here, even in this odd twilight.

Works like a dream. Hey there. Getting used to things?

[ Her smile turns almost sheepish. She's having far more fun than is dignified, especially in such odd circumstances. ]
It's hard to believe I've really found myself in such an odd place.

[She supposes as god of communication she should be checking in on these things. She can't imagine herself a passive deity. She's never been a passive anything in her life.]
Phones not a thing where you come from?

Um, no, not that sort of experiment. I'm trying to determine the capabilities and limits of this 'phone' device.
