[Action + Video]
[The feed opens to the sound of water and heavy breathing, sloshing up and then covering the speaker of Kylo Ren's communicator. He kicks hard, freeing himself from the wreckage of his Tie Silencer, which has just crashed in a shallow bay off the coast, a large rock punctured right through the side of it, fire licking at the console. He shrugs off his cape, which is jammed between the chair and the rock, before he hauls himself out of the cockpit, splashing into the waist deep water.
The communicator floats a few inches away, before he cuts off the video with the wide span of his hand, and there's only sound of him stumbling and sloshing to shore before it's thrown along with a bundle of wet clothing into the sand. The feed is at an angle pitched at the tall man as he sheds his coat and then his undershirt and arm guards, bruises already blossoming over his scar covered torso. Once free of the heavy fabric he grabs his communicator which is, conveniently, already showing connected. His face is cut in half by a nasty twisted scar, blood smeared on his forehead. ]
Hux. [He’s trying to catch his breath, and squints at the sun and sand, the heat intense. He doesn’t recognize any of the surroundings, and hadn’t been anywhere near a planet to have accidentally ran into it to begin with. And it wasn’t like someone could hide an entire planet could they?] I need an immediate recovery.
[There's no response of course, and he frowns at the communicator, his eyebrows furrowing as he paws some blood off his forehead, looking at his gloved fingers for half a second before he taps a few buttons on the device. What ever frequency he's on, it's not the one the First Order uses. He sucks at his teeth, the muscles of his jaw working as he changes tones, straightening up. ]
If there is anyone on this line. Answer me.

Audio:
Something seems kind of familiar about this person, but even so, he has the feeling that this wasn't anyone that he would want around once he hears a certain familiar name get tossed around. But he can't help but squint as if there was something in his head screaming at him to make the connection already.
But, even with struggling to make the connection to who, of his gut was right. And it usually was, at least, part right. This was someone with the First Order.
Poe finds himself cursing and making a muttered comment about "How they just have to find their way into everything" under his breath before turning his device to "audio" and letting a quip fly out.)
...Hux?
(A pause. Then;)
Sorry, we don't have anyone by that name workin' here today. You might want to try back tomorrow.
Audio:
Who is working today?
[ He bends down and picks up his sopping wet clothing, looking back at the wreckage of his ship. With it still on fire there'd be no point in trying to salvage anything yet. It's hot, and the best bet would be to find shelter and then address the rebel problem. ]
Re: Audio, then video:
Certainly, no one from the First Order is here. Of course, they would be the ones who are either causing this mess or showing up to take over. Those would be up their alley.
(The audio is interrupted as Poe switches to video and greets Kylo with a less than enthused look until he actually gets a good look at the person on the screen. His eyes widen ever so slightly but he quickly hardens his expression again.
"Okay, this guy is definitely familiar, but it can't be" is the only thought going through his head.)
But, judging from the fact you look like a drowned ewok, I'm going to say your plans failed or you didn't actually plan to show up here at all.
Scratch that. I see your ship. Hate to say it, pal... you're stuck here.
video:
[ Kylo Ren's eyes narrow, eyebrows pushing ever so slightly up as he exhales a short one note laugh. Sure enough it was Poe Dameron, who seemed particularly unkillable, and he didn't recognize him. It had been some time...but still.
He's careful to take in the pilot's words. Causing this mess and stuck here, combined with his expression (a successfully sprung trap wouldn't have had him so morose) paints an obvious picture to him, and a small smile tilts the corners of his mouth. ]
Your friends aren't here either are they?
[ If it wasn't the rebellion though... How had he ended up here? ]
Re: video:
(If he was going to give details, he only had one ally here. Still one more than the man on the other end of the conversation.)
And no, I'm gonna head you off here before you even ask, we didn't go blasting you down onto this rock, sort of rock. You think we'd go and crash land ourselves here before that? Hell no. We crashed the same as you did. As for how we all got blasted into the water, can't tell ya. All I can say is that we're going to be stuck here for a while. A long while.
("Not that it matters what who thinks of who here."
Poe leans back into his seat and then goes almost casually, even if this guy is First Order, the fact of the matter is this is neutral territory at the moment, and there isn't any good reason to try killing each other. Yet.
Or at least Poe is going to take the high ground here. Things in the bay were bad enough at the moment. The war can wait until they either get back where they came from or the other side decides that's what they would rather do.
He raises an eyebrow. Perhaps he should take the time to indulge in a crazy thought now? It was not as if he had anything better to do at the moment.)
It's the damnedest thing. You seem familiar. (He gives him a stare.) Look a bit like a kid I knew growing up, at least I think that's where I'm placing you from... but that I can't be, can it?

And her word is hard, sterile and curt.]
The First Order won't save you.
[The implication that she would crossed her mind once her words reached her ears, but she doesn't bother to correct it.]
...you should keep yourself clothed. The sun is quite harsh. Pale skin like that will burn in minutes.
[She tries not to avert her eyes. It's not going to bother her anymore! It won't! She's an adult here! A key face of the Resistance. A...a goddess, in these parts.]
Video
So you're here too.
[ He reaches out, and she can probably feel him touch the edges of the door closed between them, tracing the seal of it but not quite pressing. Instead he just lays a hand against it, eyes half lidded as he tests the solidness of it. No she's still the same as she was when she left him, had so decidedly forced his hand and then cut him down at the knees. He pulls back then, tracing the corner of his mouth with his tongue as he meets her eyes across the feed again. ]
Your concern for my wellbeing is touching. Rey.
Video
Yes. Crash-landed with Poe about a month ago.
[She feels him nudging against her mind, and she almost acquiesces, though at the last minute she shies away; relieved that he would even try, but not quite ready to welcome him in with open arms. Not while her defenses were still up.
Her eyes don't meet his right away, instead watching the subtle gestures of his face, curious what he's thinking just now, but not so much as to open their connection yet again.]
You're hurt. There's blood there. [She lifts her chin, jerking it slightly to indicate what he probably already knows.]
Re: Video
She nods her chin at him, still cold and distant, and he turns the camera so she can see the pillar of smoke and raging flames pouring out of the cockpit of his ship, his voice drawling in a way that is intentionally patronizing. ]
I did just crash. That is generally what happens.
Video
Are you alone? [Best to ask that first before she makes her way over. The smoke had yet to send any real signal of his location to the sky, but she was certain it'd be only a matter of time before it did.]

Is there anything else?

Do you have any useful information about who is drawing ships in here?

Yes, there's probably a lot of people on this line...
(Then Marie happens to look down at the screen. She gets a good look at him and immediately her eyes widen at the sight. The site behind him was bad enough, but that cut on his face is worrisome too. Then there was the blood smeared on his forehead.)
Oh, Scheiße. Scheiße. Scheiße.
(She seems to have a second of mental arguing with herself and then manages to speak again;)
That looks bad. Where'd you crash at? You should seriously get yourself looked at. Can you walk?
Video:
[ Someone is coming, but he's not about to share anything about that, and he paws more blood off his forehead, wiping it on his leg. ]
What can you tell me about how this planet works?
Re: Video:
(Marie raises an eyebrow to show that she isn't buying that, but decides to answer his question.)
Well, I just got here too, but I did find out that this place kind of just loops? Like you could just walk around but after you go out of the town a little bit, it just repeats itself?
Then there's the whole missing gods and goddesses thing.
