[The next time you see this fresh-faced newcomer, she's lounging in a rope hammock in a brightly-lit temple. Even when it's overcast outside, it seems as though the sunlight's always beaming down on the warm sandstone pillars and lush tropical foliage.

Cradled in her hands is a large wedge of pink melon, a large bite having been taken out of it. She's chewing thoughtfully, cheeks filled like a chipmunk as juice drips messily down her chin.]

I--[She swallows, realizing she was talking with her mouth full.] I was mostly drawn in by the fruit--I didn't realize the hammock was the throne of this place, but no one seemed to mind my occupying it.

[She swings up her legs, her pants rolled up her calves and her feet bare. It's pleasant and warm inside, and she folds her legs under her as she swings her body weight to set the hammock in motion.]

There's room to share--though I don't think two of us can be gods at the same time. I don't think?

[Anyway, say hello to your new God of Summer.]

I'm jealous. That has to be way more comfortable than a glorified stone chair.

We'll just need to make yours more comfortable! A plush cushion, a bonfire and bar-be-que...

(The video feed turns on and he is sprawled across the throne, torso over one end and his legs over the opposite.)

Of course those are all good ideas. Think we can use the pit at the bottom of the steps for snores and stuff?

[Poe's display makes her snicker.] Looks like you manage just fine without a hammock.

Why stop there? We can have a full bonfire feast if you want! You're the Fire God aren't you?

(He sees that snicker.)

What else would you do? You try to find something that works and this actually does work. But, I should look into a cushion while I'm at it.

(He then returns it with a cheeky grin.)

Maybe once things settle down a bit, I'll work on that. Sounds like it might be fun. Maybe it'll be a good "housewarming party" or something.

[She swipes an arm across her chin, sitting up slightly in the hammock and sending it into a violent swinging mess.]

You totally can. I wouldn't be able to exist without my daily cup of Steph's instant sludge.

[Rey's face scrunches up.] That doesn't sound very appetizing.

[Which is saying something, given Rey's appetite.]

So of course visiting is still an option--we'll make a habit of it!

Caffeine is a never turn down commodity. Plus Steph's great company.

No fucking clue. I don't really believe in all this god stuff, but I can't argue with the results. Certainly something's going on.

[Though no stranger to supernatural occurrences, she's not certain what to account for when it comes to these peculiar thrones and their effect on the world here.]

Oh, that does look fun! My throne needs tons of pillows to be comfortable. Maybe I could have it changed.

Is it made of stone like Poe's is? Why a god would choose that over something more comfortable is anyone's guess.

It is. It had a few pillows when I found it, but they weren't nearly enough. I'm afraid it wasn't cute at all.

[Rey looks over her hammock with a momentary thought. She hadn't considered the cuteness of the temple--but she figured not all were created equal in that regard.]

Is there a...god of textiles or something? Maybe they can hook you up.

Not that I know of... The Goddess of Industry, perhaps! She took the throne just recently.
