[The video feed flickers to life and shows Oliver staring at the screen with a mixed look of frustration and concern. He sets the device little ways away from him and crosses his arms across his chest.]

I thought that I had seen some weird things in my life. I have seen a lot of strange things in my life. I thought we were in the clear....

[He scrubs his hands over his face. God, this sucked]

Maybe the world is trying to tell me that we shouldn't get married. I tried to tell her that it would be okay. That we would be okay. We were okay, but now? Now? none of this is okay.

[When the feed turns on there's a wide-eyed Felicity. In fact, the video is incredibly close to her face.]

Oliver? Wait, what? I mean, what?

[There's a short pause as she tries to collect her thoughts.]

Where are you?

Felicity.

What do you mean what? You were there sweetheart.

The last thing I remember was not-you pointing an arrow at me.

[She still sounds apprehensive because he's mentioning marriage again. Was he putting marriage back on the table? She wasn't sure she was ready for that table to be flipped just yet.]

Does this mean everything turned out okay? No more Nazis, Kara keeps her heart?

[ Oliver sucks in a deep breath at Felicity's words, is face showing his emotion for a fraction of a second. ]

[ Keep it simple stupid. ]

[Ok, weird question, even weirder microexpression. Did something go wrong between them or something? No, that couldn't be it, he was talking about marriage, so things had to be ok. Marriage was still on the table = Ok.]

[She doesn't mean to sound blunt, but she does. Why would he ever think she didn't want to see him? Ok, there was that short bit where she handed him back his engagement ring and tried to quit the team, but even that barely lasted any time at all, and they were fine. Better than fine actually. He wasn't stuck on EarthX, he was, ok, they were both here in this weird place, and she was a goddess now, but they were at least together.]

[The crease between her brows seems to be starting to show. A clear indication that something's bothering her, something is worrying her.]

[ Oliver closed his eyes, taking a page out of Felicity's book and counting back from 3. He did it silently, however. He knew he couldn't lie to her.

He just didn't know what to tell her. ]

Everything was perfect, Felicity. I'm okay. [ He gives her a smile. ]

I'll be there is a bit alright?

[Was? The wording causes the crease to deepen. Why was? She doesn't like was.]

I'll, I'll be here.

[ Oliver stops at Steph's for coffee first but manages to find the Bank, with 2 cups of coffee. ]

Felicity?

[Coffee be damned, which is saying something for Felicity. She runs to him as soon as he's in sight, pulling him into a tight hug.

She's missed him. She's been worrying about so much, and much of it involved him. Had they returned to the right Earth, was Kara alright. Then he'd arrived here, and more questions came with the answers he gave. Why was? Why was he so hesitant and why were there microexpressions she couldn't explain.]

[Oliver pulled back slightly and pulled her into a gentle kiss. One that could convey everything he couldn't say. How much he loved her, and it didn't matter to him if they were married or not. ]

We both are. We made it.

[Her eyes are wet, holding in all the light of worry that she'd been keeping at bay since the Earth X invasion. He'd been gone, and no matter how much she hoped she didn't know if he'd be coming back.

But he's safe, he's here. Wherever here was, but he's safe and he's with her. That's what mattered to her.

She reaches her free hand up to cup his cheek, her thumb brushing over it. It's hard to think that he's really here. That they're really here. Really safe and together.]

I thought I'd never see you again.

[There's a pause before she adds.]

What have you been told about this place?

I know. Me too. But we're okay, right?

[He looks down at her. ]

Not much. What do we know?

[Her brows crinkle slightly at his question. Was he actually asking that or just asking because they were in some weird place; because she doesn't remember being not okay. Aside from the whole marriage thing.]

We don't know where this place is, but nothing works without someone sitting on a throne that relates to it. Like no fire-type things until Poe sat on the throne.

Which is why I'm the god of industry now. Housing and stuff.

[Just wait till a week from now when she takes over technology too.]

If the universe gives signs like that I'm pretty sure it wants me dead ten times over.

Would coffee help?
